/ UMIS Password Reset Guide
Step 1: Access the Login Portal
Navigate to the Babcock University UMIS Student Login page.
In the Username field, enter your Matriculation Number (e.g.,
15/2097).
Step 2: Initiate Password Reset
On the login screen, look below the "Login" button.
Click on the Forgot password? link (indicated by the arrow in your first screenshot).
Step 3: Enter Reset Credentials
You will be redirected to the Password Reset page. To proceed, you must provide two pieces of information:
Username: Enter your Matriculation Number again.
Email: Enter your active student email address (e.g.,
olawatimileyin2097@student.babcock.edu.ng).
Note: This email must match the one currently existing in your official university records.
Step 4: Submit Request
Click the blue Reset button. The system will process your request and display a confirmation if the details match.
Step 5: Email Authentication
Check your student email inbox for a message from the UMIS system.
Open the email and follow the instructions to authenticate your account.
A new temporary password or a link to set a new one will be provided.
Important Tips
Check Spam: If you don't see the email within 5 minutes, check your Spam/Junk folder.
Active Email: Ensure you are logged into your official
@student.babcock.edu.ngaccount, as personal emails (like Gmail or Yahoo) will not work if they aren't linked to your profile.
