On the login screen, look below the "Login" button.

  • Click on the Forgot password? link (indicated by the arrow in your first screenshot).

Step 3: Enter Reset Credentials

You will be redirected to the Password Reset page. To proceed, you must provide two pieces of information:

  • Username: Enter your Matriculation Number again.

Note: This email must match the one currently existing in your official university records.

Step 4: Submit Request

Click the blue Reset button. The system will process your request and display a confirmation if the details match.

Step 5: Email Authentication

Check your student email inbox for a message from the UMIS system.

  • Open the email and follow the instructions to authenticate your account.

  • A new temporary password or a link to set a new one will be provided.

Important Tips

  • Check Spam: If you don't see the email within 5 minutes, check your Spam/Junk folder.

  • Active Email: Ensure you are logged into your official @student.babcock.edu.ng account, as personal emails (like Gmail or Yahoo) will not work if they aren't linked to your profile.
