/ Personal Details
1. Module Overview
The Personal Details module is a read-only repository (for the student) that aggregates data from the admissions and registrar offices. It ensures that the institution has accurate records for graduation processing, communication, and financial transactions.
Accessing the Records
Navigation: Users select "Personal Details" from the left-hand navigation sidebar, located directly beneath "School Info".
Interface: The data is presented in a clean, alternating-row table format to ensure high readability of dense information.
2. Detailed Data Breakdown
The information is categorized into three primary functional areas:
A. Identity & Demographics
This section confirms the legal and personal identity of the student.
Full Name: Displays the legal name used for certificates (e.g., Afolabi, Emmanuel Oluwatimileyin).
Biodata: Includes Gender (M), Marital Status (S), and Religion/Denomination (e.g., Seventh Day Adventist).
Nationality & Residency: Records the student's country of origin and current residential address in Abeokuta, Ogun State.
B. Academic Profiling
These fields define the student's current standing within the university hierarchy.
Matric No: The unique student identifier (15/2097).
Programme & Department: Specific academic track (e.g., B.Sc. in Computer Science or Masters In Computer Science).
Study Level: Current progress indicators (e.g., 800 level).
School/Dept Codes: Short-hand internal codes for routing (e.g., CES for School of Computing, COSC for Computer Science).
C. Status & Financial Indicators
Critical flags that affect a student's ability to register or reside on campus.
On Probation: A "No" status indicates the student is in good academic standing.
Off Campus: A "Yes" status confirms the student has permission to live outside university housing.
Payment Details: Includes the ETranzact Card Number and Account Number used for tuition and fee tracking.
3. Functional Analysis: How it Works
The system uses this data as a "Master Record" to drive other modules:
Validation: When a student attempts to register for an Online Exam, the system checks the Matric No and Study Level from this profile to provide the correct papers.
Communication: The listed EMail (e.g.,
Oluwatimileyin2097@student.babcock.edu.ng) serves as the primary channel for official university correspondence.Financial Clearance: The ETranzact data linked here is used by the Finance module to verify that payments are credited to the correct student profile.
