/ Overview
The Attendance Management System (AMS) is a centralized digital platform designed to monitor, record, and manage attendance for mandatory university activities. It enables academic staff, non-academic staff, and students to easily track participation in required events and engagements.
The system also provides a structured process for students to apply for exeat and monitor the approval status in real time, ensuring transparency, accountability, and efficient communication across the university.
The Core functionalities of this system includes:
Attendance Tracking: Automated monitoring of presence at lectures, seminars, and other mandatory university functions.
Real-Time Monitoring: Students and staff can instantly view their attendance percentages and history to ensure they meet university requirements.
Exeat Management: A digitized workflow for students to apply for leave of absence (exeat) and for authorized staff to review, approve, or decline requests.
Status Transparency: Real-time status updates on pending approvals, allowing students to track their exeat requests from submission to final decision.
